A tween witch-in-training navigates the highs and lows of growing up in this bestselling graphic novel series that’s “charming beyond belief” (Entertainment Weekly)! In this spellbinding sequel, Effie learns that witches come in all different shapes, sizes—and students!

A Graphic Novels and Comics Round Table (GNCRT) Outstanding Comics Award Winner for Best Children's Series

Effie is excited to be part of the community of witches protecting Brooklyn. But suddenly, life seems completely different. No longer the newest kid in school, Effie feels as if her friends are happy to grow their little group—although Effie herself isn’t so sure of the new girl in school. On top of that, disasters keep happening at a nearby intersection, where two mysterious statues stare at each other from across the block. And not for nothing, but learning magic is hard work!
Effie just wants to have fun being a witch, but her life in Brooklyn is about to get weird(er).

This bewitching adventure captures what it means to be a friend, and how growing up can be a little less scary if you throw some magic in the mix.
